Director, Department of Pulmonary Medicine

An internationally recognized pioneer of EBUS-TBNA, having participated in its original research and development at Chiba University, Japan, in 2002. He established the Centre of Excellence for EBUS-TBNA at Fortis Hiranandani Hospital, Vashi, in 2010 among the first in Western India to offer this technique. Dr. Chhajed holds MD, DETRD, DNB, and FCCP credentials, has authored 160+ PubMed-indexed publications, and has served as Chairman of the Interventional Pulmonology Group of the European Respiratory Society (2018–2021).

Consultant Pulmonologist

MBBS (2010, Pravara Medical College, Loni), TDD (TB & Chest, 2016, Terna Medical College, Nerul). Over 10 years of experience in pulmonology, including 6 years in critical care. Specializes in diagnosing and treating asthma, COPD, lung infections, and sleep disorders. Certified in Diabetology (CCEBDM).

Consultant Pulmonologist

MBBS and MD in Respiratory Medicine (Padmashree D Y Patil University). Expertise spans critical care and respiratory medicine. Fluent in English, Hindi, and Marathi.
